Business Office Information

At all VPS Middle School Business offices  Parents can now use their VISA, MasterCard, Discover or VISA Debit cards to pay for student fees and fines.

You may pay for Fines and certain Student Fees online. Click on Parent Access, log in and navigate to Student Fines and Fees.

What is MYP at Discovery?

The program consists of eight subject groups that integrate the five areas of Global Contexts.  Students study their mother tongue, a second language, humanities, sciences, mathematics, arts, physical education and technology.  Throughout the eight subject areas students will develop an understanding of the IB learner profiles.  The ten qualities of the learner profile inspire and motivate the work of teachers and students by providing the values of the IB and a definition of what it means by “international mindedness”.
